Couple backstage DSLR photos of a local performance.

I was driving through Kansas on a long stretch of highway and decided to pull over and take a couple photos while the sun was falling on the land. Maybe the cows drew me in? I certainly don’t think this is a great shot, in fact, most landscape photography bores me because I know that no matter how pretty it looks it will never compare to experiencing it with your owns eyeballs. That is a frustrating thing to deal with as a photographer, the impossible recreation of the setting fitted into a camera sensor (or film strip.) Or maybe I just suck at shooting landscapes…end rant.
Been a really long time since I have pointed a camera at the stars and shot with a long exposure.
I was hanging around the backyard fire pit enjoying a homemade cereal malt beverage and decided to throw up a tripod with a 10 pin cord & pocket wizards to trip the shutter. Not super crazy about the results but somehow I am giving self merit for the attempt here on the blog. I will be doing this again soon for sure.
