Cut this together after a recent test shoot. Teaching myself Final Cut Pro X and this is a result from an self given exercise, it still needs work but its moving along.

We are snowed in here in Kansas City so while watching the snow pile up I was testing some video stuff, it is nothing to write home about, just messing around with stills and audio I put together in iMovie & GarageBand. I’m quite disappointed in the coloring of the video on the export, must be something I am not doing properly…still learning.

Kansas City Photographer Aaron Lindberg

I woke up today and decided to piece together a quick video clip of some recent footage I shot during a photography class I teach at the University of Kansas. I wanted to test a few things out and see how they shaped up within my work flow.

With the convergence of video into our industry, it important to hone current skill sets so I have began teaching myself more and more about the video process with a few simple exercises like this one. This video is certainly not going to win any awards or generate much buzz but it has been good practice for me to sit down for an hour and push this video out onto the blog.

Keep in mind this is nothing fancy, just footage of students working on their first project of the semester during class at KU. This is just a test, nothing more…
